Foreign News::::REVEALED: Police Discover House Where Kidnappers Held Africa's Billionaire, Mo Dewji

Update:: Police have identified a house in Tanzania Mbezi Beach as where tycoon Mohammed Dewji was held following his kidnapping by unknown gunmen. The country's Special Zone Police Commander, Mr Lazaro Mambosasa, told journalists about the one-storey house during a briefing in the city on Monday. Mambosasa said that after the businessman was freed, police continued with investigations and found out that he was kept in the house that is a few kilometres from Old Bagamoyo Road. “The house belonged to the late Mwansasu. Its ownership was changed after his death. It is currently owned by his daughter,” said Mr Mambosasa. He did not disclose the name of the woman but added that the house was rented by South African businessmen. Commander Mambosasa said police were also holding taxi driver and broker Twalibu Mussa, who is believed to have close ties with the abductors. Olushola Ricketts Actress, Ebere Ohakwe, better known as Jewel Infinity, has said she has yet to get her compensation from the Nigerian Army. After being assaulted by an army officer identified as Sulaiman Olamilekan in February 2017, Ohakwe dragged the army before the court. Last month, a Federal High Court, sitting in Port Harcourt, ordered the Nigerian Army to pay the sum of N1, 250,000 and publish a written apology in at least two national dailies to the actress. Speaking to Sunday Scoop , the actress said she was yet to get any compensation from the military. She said, “I am yet to speak with my lawyer, but I think he knows what to do and the next step to take. Thousands turned out on Sunday for a concert in Johannesburg to honor the life of Nelson Mandela, with Beyonce leading an all-star line-up. The event, held to mark 100 years since the birth of South Africa's first black president, was organized by advocacy group Global Citizen. It also aimed to highlight the fight against poverty, gender inequality and hunger, causes that Mandela championed. World Bank President Jim Kim was among a number of political and business leaders attending the event and he announced a $1 billion investment in health and education across Africa in 2019. Update:: The African Union (AU) has warned Burundi against moves to jeopardise peace efforts after an international arrest warrant was issued for ex-leader Pierre Buyoya and 16 other officials. They are accused of being behind the 1993 assassination of the country's first elected Hutu president. The killing of Melchior Ndadaye triggered a brutal ethnic civil war. Mr Buyoya, an ethnic Tutsi, says it is a ploy to stir up divisions and shift attention from the current crisis. More than 300,000 people died in a 12-year civil war between the minority Tutsi-dominated army and mainly Hutu rebel groups.

Update:: The United Nations condemned on Sunday a wave of “brutal” sexual attacks on women and girls in the northern town of Bentiu in South Sudan which took place in what it described as a government controlled area of the region. On Friday, the aid agency Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) said that unknown gunmen have raped 125 women during a 10-day spree of violence in Bentiu, but local officials disputed the report.

Update:: An Egyptian film star faces trial next month for promoting immorality after attending the Cairo Film Festival in a see-through dress, state-owned online newspaper Al-Ahram Gate reported on Saturday. In a statement on her Twitter account, Rania Youssef apologised to families she may have angered by her outfit choice and said she did not expect it would cause so much anger.
