Amina Zakari has been appointed as the head of election collation centre for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for the 2019 elections. 2019: Outrage over appointment of Buhari’s niece, Zakari as INEC head of collation centre INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, made the announcement on Thursday. Update:: President Trump has fired back at Democrats calling for his impeachment within moments of the 116th Congress convening, claiming he's had “the most successful first two years” of any president. Trump spoke out on the impeachment calls after a video of Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib surfaced online where she vowed to remove him from office. Update:: US police are dealing with a suspected mass shooting at a California bowling alley with reports of 'multiple victims'. Police in Torrance, California confirmed shots had rang out at Gable House Bowl. The number of victims and the nature of their injuries was not immediately made clear. Torrance police tweeted: "Reports of shots fired with multiple victims down. T P D is on scene. Investigation is ongoing." Police are urging people to "stay away from the area" near the bowling alley.  Torrance fire department also confirmed the incident and warned people away from the vicinity of it.  The bowling alley is based on Hawthorne Boulevard, with people warned away from there and nearby Sepulveda Boulevard in particular.
