Update::   Dr. Pedro Obaseki, the President of Midwest Movement, says the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, should not use restructuring as a political gimmick to get votes. Obaseki, a cousin to Gov. Godwin Obaseki of Edo, said Friday that only a restructured Nigeria would engender peace, progress and prosperity for the country. According to him, the country needs a presidential candidate that strongly believes in and committed to restructuring of the nation for Nigeria to join the comity of developed nations of the world.                   He spoke against the backdrop of Abubakar’s promise to commence the processes of Nigeria’s restructuring within six months of his administration if he emerges the winner of the Feb. 16 Presidential Election. Update::  A petrol tanker has exploded at Forte Oil filling station located very close to the local airport in Lagos State. Sources from the airport confirmed this to Channels Television on Friday shortly after the incident occurred. The explosion which occurred when the tanker was discharging its contents has resulted in a massive blaze at the facility. Channels Television aviation correspondent said officials of the fire services have moved in to contain the inferno. However, it is yet to be ascertained if there are casualties as a result of the incident. The airport itself, just across the road, has not been affected by the fire. Update:: American video vixen and model, Symba has narrated how a hotel cleaner in the Lekki area of Lagos State recently stole her panties including that of her friend. This is happening amid rumours of female panties being utilized by internet fraudsters popularly known as ‘Yahoo Boys’ for money-making rituals. According to the curvy Black American, she was smart enough to discover the missing panties and alerted the hotel authorities that in turn summoned the suspected cleaner. .

Update:: Senate Minority Leader, Biodun Olujimi, has said that Nigerians have no reason to re-elect President Muhammadu Buhari who is the All Progressives Congress’ presidential candidate in the 2019 general elections. Olujimi, who is the Peoples Democratic Party’s senatorial candidate for Ekiti South, said Nigerians should vote in 2019 based on past record and ability to deliver. The senator who was represented by her campaign director, Sanya Adesua, spoke at Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State, on Thursday during the distribution of Mathematics and English Language textbooks to public secondary schools in her senatorial district. She said, “President Buhari does not have anything to campaign with as his achievements in the last four years. Update:: A US woman has accused Nigerian musician Runtown of conning her of $124, 000 (Ksh12.4 million). Shawn Rene recently took to social media to post receipts, screenshots and a video to back up her claim .[Click here to like and follow us on Facebook] Runtown has, however, come out to refute Ms Rene’s allegations. In a statement released by his management, Runtown says:  “Our attention has been drawn to reports circulating on social media by a US-based woman named, Shawn Rene accusing our artist, Runtown, of fraud. It’s all lies and an attempt to blackmail and tarnish our image. “We have contacted the Nigerian security agencies including the DSS and EFCC who are all on the matter at the moment and preliminary investigations already reveals that it’s a group of impostors who may have duped ‘Sawhn Rene’ using Runtown’s name. Runtown has never and will never defraud anyone,”  reads the statement.
