Update:: A former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, who is also the presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, has released a list of persons close to President Muhammadu Buhari whom he alleges are corrupt. In the list released Sunday evening by one of his spokespersons, Phrank Shuaibu, Mr Abubakar also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to deregister the governing APC, which, according to him, ”has metamorphosed from a political party to a nest of corrupt politicians”. The former vice president listed 28 persons that he said have various corruption allegations around them ”but are now close to the President and the APC”. Update:: Four boys between the ages of 12 and 14 have been arrested and charged with kidnapping and gang-raping a 13-year-old girl. Kabarshenay Ellis-Pinkney, 14, Louis Miller, 13, Joseph James-Carter, also 13, and Ja'den Glover, 12, were all charged with various offences, including felony rape, kidnapping, and unlawful sexual contact.  Louis Miller, 13. Update:: Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore says his government will give tremendous attention to the education sector. He said any government that fails to invest in the sector must brace up to create massive prsion infrastructures to house society's bred criminals. Sowore explains that his plans for the sector focus on Free, compulsory and qualitative education, abolishment of fees and exorbitant charges, establishment of community colleges and creation of vocational/technical colleges.
