Update:: Nigerian M.C Nathaniel Adejoh has passed on - A Facebook user identified Agnes Jack shared the sad news on social media - The deceased died shortly after a battle with heart related ailment - He tied the knot in April 2018 and left behind his pregnant wife A Facebook user identified as Agnes Jack shared the sad news on social media and revealed that he was a free spirit who wanted everyone around him to be happy. Sources claim that late Adejoh died after a battle with heart related ailment. His family and friends held a candle night to pay their last respects on December 28 and his remains are to be buried in his home town, Kogi on December 29. Late Nathaniel left behind his pregnant wife. May his soul rest in peace. Meanwhile, just recently, a young Muslim bride-to-be identified as Fawziya Tataru died few hours to her wedding ceremony in Bauchi. The deceased died of an undisclosed ailment shortly after his wedding Walima to Abduljalil Salisu.

Update:: The 2018 ranking on terrorism is out and Nigeria, for the fourth consecutive year, occupies the third position among the countries worst hit by terrorism, globally, because of the activities of Boko Haram and herdsmen. Apart from 2014 when it was ranked fourth, Nigeria has remained in the unenviable third position in the Global Terrorism Index (GTI) ranking since 2015. In the latest report released on Wednesday, Iraq, a country in the Middle-East, is ranked first, a position it has held since 2014. Afghanistan has ranked second since 2013. Syria and Pakistan are ranked fourth and fifth respectively. Update:: A pregnant woman was sliced open from ‘hip to hip’ by her neighbour who had bore the intention to steal her baby, Metro UK reports. Savanna Greywind, from Fargo, North Dakota, had been eight months pregnant with her first child when she was lured by Brooke Crews to her flat upstairs on August 19 2017. The 22-year-old was then pushed to the floor, before Crews performed an amateur cesarean on her, taking her baby from her womb. Crews later told a courtroom that Savanna woke up during the horrific attack before falling back unconscious once again. She later died due to the amount of blood lost. Update:: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says Nigeria and Federation of Russia have signed a treaty on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters. The Ministry’s Spokesperson George Edokpa said this in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday in Abuja. The ministry explained that the Treaty was negotiated in 2009 to enhance collaboration and cooperation between the two countries in the administration of criminal justice and signed in Moscow, Russia on Nov. 27, 2018. ”The Treaty was signed on behalf of Nigeria by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, while Russian Acting Minister of Justice, Mr Oleg Plokhoy, signed on behalf of his country. ”The Treaty on Legal Assistance in Criminal Matter is aimed at providing the necessary mechanism for cooperation in the fight against crime and criminal related matters. ”These include terrorism, as well as to counter every form of support to terrorism,” it stated.
